Job summary

Top Prospect Group's Stratford, CT facility seeks a Second Shift Supervisor to lead Chemical Operators, ensure in-spec materials, uphold COPs, and drive safety, quality and productivity on the second shift.

You will coordinate daily tasks, monitor schedules, train staff, maintain records in Process Pro and ERP, and support plant management while prioritizing teamwork and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience supervising diverse manufacturing or chemical plant operations.
• Able to multitask, prioritise, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem solving, communication, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Chemical Operators and coordinate daily job assignments.
• Ensure compliance with COPs, company policies, and safety requirements.
• Monitor production schedules and adjust operations to meet needs.
• Maintain production records using COPs and Process Pro.
• Oversee ERP training and retraining as necessary.
• Lead safety initiatives, daily housekeeping, and risk assessments.
• Assist with ordering raw materials and plant supplies.
• Operate a forklift and provide on-the-job training as needed.
