Job summary

Vast in Long Beach, CA is seeking an Avionics PCBA Soldering Technician to support the Haven Station program. You will perform complex soldering on PCBA assemblies to IPC-J-STD-001 Space Addendum standards, under the supervision of the Supervisor of Avionics Manufacturing.

This full-time, non-exempt role requires shift work (Second shift 2pm-10:30pm PST) and lifting up to 50 lbs, with opportunities for comprehensive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• 3+ years soldering PCBA assemblies.
• 2+ years using basic electronic test tools and hand tools.
• Ability to read drawings and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex soldering on PCBA to IPC-J-STD-001 Space Addendum.
• Collaborate with engineering to turn concepts into hardware.
• Document results and verify flight hardware against standards.
• Assist in developing initial production processes.
• Support project goals for operational efficiency.
