Job summary

Staffmark Group is seeking an Assembly Lead in Van Nuys, CA on the 2nd shift to coordinate and support assembly and packaging operations. Lead a small team, organize workflows, and ensure production stays on schedule using Monday.com and standard office tools.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, attention to detail, and effective communication to manage temps and daily tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Organized and meticulous with paperwork and details.
• Strong in follow-through and accountability.
• A good communicator and comfortable directing a team.
• Computer-proficient and comfortable learning/using Monday.com, Microsoft Office, PC and Mac systems.
• Flexible and willing to jump in wherever needed.
• Experienced or familiar with assembly, packaging, warehouse, inventory, shipping, or logistics.

Responsibilities

• Help lead and coordinate second-shift assembly and packaging.
• Organize the daily and weekly workflow and keep jobs moving on schedule.
• Determine the number of temps needed for each job and help manage the temp workforce.
• Comfortable using computers and familiar with Monday.com, Microsoft Office, and both PC and Mac systems.
• Track temp hours and maintain accurate timekeeping.
• Assist with inventory organization and tracking.
• Coordinate with shipping/logistics as needed.
• Maintain accurate paperwork and production records.
• Identify workflow or staffing issues and communicate them quickly.
• Help ensure the team stays organized, productive, and on schedule.
