Legence is seeking a highly detail-oriented SEC Financial Reporting Manager to join our Corporate Finance team in Houston. This role focuses on SEC reporting, US GAAP compliance, and supporting audit readiness in a growth-oriented environment.

You will partner with cross-functional teams to prepare financial statements, consolidations, footnotes, and schedules, manage external audits, and drive process improvements using Workiva and ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
• CPA required.
• 4–7+ years of combined public accounting and corporate SEC reporting.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and SEC requirements (including XBRL).
• Proficiency with Workiva and Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP/consolidation systems.

Responsabilités

• Assist in preparation of financial statements and footnotes per US GAAP/SEC.
• Prepare tie-out packages and quality control for SEC filings.
• Support consolidation, close processes, and reconciliations.
• Assist audit readiness, internal controls, and SOX documentation.
• Drive process improvements in reporting and system workflows.
