Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Professional proficiency in English and Spanish.
• Ability to accurately provide consecutive interpretation.
• Background checks or credentialing as required by clients.
• Résumé in English during application.
• Basic computer and technology proficiency.
• Ability to travel to onsite assignments.
• Health/immunization requirements may apply.
• Background/security checks may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate and professional consecutive interpretation between English and Spanish onsite.
• Provide remote interpretation by telephone or video when applicable.
• Follow interpreter protocols and client requirements.
• Maintain confidentiality, privacy, and data-protection requirements (HIPAA/FERPA/GLBA as applicable).
• Interact professionally with clients and participants.
• Maintain language proficiency and subject-matter knowledge for assignments.
