Job summary

100 Shift4 Payments, LLC is seeking a dynamic sales professional in Washington to present Point of Sale systems and merchant servicing products. You will set appointments, prospect by phone and in person, develop new accounts, and forge referral partnerships with local merchants.

You’ll listen to client needs, explain product value, qualify opportunities, and close deals in a fast-paced cycle. A hunter mentality, CRM experience, and a valid driver’s license are preferred; hospitality experience

Qualifications

• Willingness to cold-call and set meetings with potential clients in person.
• Willingness to close deals in a fast-paced sales cycle.
• Requires an entrepreneurial spirit and hunter-like mentality.
• Computer and smartphone literacy.
• Background in door-to-door/outside sales experience.
• Ability to meet sales quotas.
• CRM experience.
• Restaurant hospitality experience is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Set appointments with merchants to present Point of Sale with Shift4 merchant servicing products.
• Prospect over the phone, face‑to‑face through networking, and build referral partnerships.
• Assist existing clients with additional add‑on services including Hardware, Software, and Professional Services.
• Build relationships with merchants by listening to their needs/desires and resolving any outstanding issues.
• Explain the value of Shift4 products through your laptop or Point of Sale device.
• Listen, identify, and qualify sales opportunities to up‑sell additional products and services.
• Develop new accounts and target areas for new growth or market value.
• Exhibit a high level of professionalism and apply company policies and procedures to effectively grow market share.
• Sign new logos in your assigned territory.
• Develop knowledge of current products and services as well as changes and updates within the payments industry.
• Maintain regular communication with your direct manager.
• Attend weekly meetings to review your pipeline and forecast new opportunities that you’ll secure.
