Job summary

Permanent Placements LLC is seeking a Litigation Associate with 2-4 years of complex litigation experience to join its Seattle office in a leading international law firm. The successful candidate will work on complex commercial disputes, gain meaningful responsibility, direct client exposure, and receive mentorship from experienced litigators.

Responsibilities include handling all phases of matters, legal research and drafting, discovery, depositions, and trial preparation, with opportunities

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of litigation experience required.
• Experience handling complex litigation matters.
• Strong legal research, analytical, and writing skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Outstanding academic credentials.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Active membership in the Washington Bar, or willingness to obtain admission.

Responsibilities

• Handle all phases of complex litigation matters.
• Conduct legal research and draft: motions, briefs, pleadings, memoranda; discovery-related documents.
• Assist with case strategy and litigation planning.
• Participate in depositions, hearings, mediations, and trial preparation.
• Manage discovery and case development efforts.
• Work closely with partners, clients, experts, and other team members on sophisticated disputes.
• Maintain strong client relationships through responsive and practical legal counsel.
• Manage multiple assignments and deadlines in a fast-paced litigation environment.
