The role focuses on drafting and negotiating energy agreements, supporting project development, financing, and asset sales, with emphasis on renewable energy credits and regulatory matters.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Admission to practice in California.
• 3+ years of energy transactions or strong commercial transaction background.
• Strong drafting, negotiating, and teamwork skills.
• Familiarity with energy regulatory frameworks and utility operations.
• Strong legal research, writing, and communication skills.
• Interest in emerging technologies and energy transition issues.

Responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate commercial agreements, including energy supply and operational contracts.
• Support transactions involving energy project development, financing, and asset sales.
• Advise on renewable energy credit transactions and energy market matters.
• Counsel clients on renewable energy, storage, and decarbonization initiatives.
• Collaborate on energy transition, infrastructure, and technology matters.
