Job summary

UnitedHealth Group's OptumCare in Seattle seeks a Radiologic Technician to perform DEXA scans, gather patient history, and contribute to data reporting and quality control. You will develop scanning protocols, maintain DEXA equipment, and troubleshoot data or software issues while ensuring HIPAA compliance and high clinical standards.

A Washington state radiologic technician license is required within 6 months of hire.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Washington State Radiologic Technician license within 6 months of hire.
• Demonstrates high-technical understanding of clinical indications for exams.
• Demonstrated ability to type and use keyboard.
• Proven excellent customer service skills.
• Proven high level of professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Performs DEXA scans on patients for osteoporosis.
• Gathers pertinent patient clinical history for interpreting physician.
• Develops scanning protocols for DEXA exams.
• Maintains DEXA equipment to meet a high level of clinical performance.
• Ensures confidentiality of patient information and HIPAA compliance.
• Manages DEXA patient schedule, accommodates emergent exams.
