You will perform DEXA scans, gather relevant patient history, develop scanning protocols, and maintain equipment while ensuring HIPAA compliance and high-quality care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, or GED.
• Washington State Radiologic Technician license required within 6 months of hire.
• Demonstrates high-technical understanding of clinical indications for exams.
• Demonstrated ability to type and use keyboard.
• Proven excellent customer service skills.
• Proven high level of professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Performs DEXA scans on patients for osteoporosis.
• Proficient at gathering patient clinical history for interpreting physician.
• Develops scanning protocols for DEXA exams.
• Maintains DEXA equipment to meet high clinical performance including software upgrades.
• Recognizes inaccurate exam data and software/hardware failures.
• Manages DEXA patient schedule and accommodates emergent exams and add-ons.
• Promotes core values and integrates Lean principles to improve efficiency.
