Job summary

TRA Medical Imaging is seeking a DXA Technician to perform dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry exams, position patients, and operate DXA equipment per physician protocols. You will document results in the electronic medical record and coordinate with radiologists and staff to ensure efficient workflow.

Ideal candidates have a Washington State Technician certification, current BLS, and 1 year of related experience. Opportunity to travel across TRA sites in the Puget Sound region.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of recent, related experience.
• Valid Washington State Technician certification.
• Medical Terminology certification preferred.
• Current BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care during DXA exam per protocol.
• Prepares equipment and positions patient for DXA imaging.
• Ensures accurate documentation in the EMR and patient charts.
• Maintains knowledge of RIS, PACS, and Replica systems for imaging.
• Delivers quality service and supports radiologist with procedures.
