Amazon.com is seeking a Corporate Counsel to support its work on M&A and other strategic transactions. The candidate must have a strong M&A background and be able to manage large and complex transactions with tight deadlines, as well as research and advise on transactional and general corporate matters and work effectively with outside counsel.

The role will be Seattle-based, with extended hours when necessary.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor and bar membership in one state.
• 5+ years of post-bar experience in transactional law.
• Experience with a variety of transaction types (private/public, stock/asset, cross-border).

Responsibilities

• Support M&A and strategic transactions, managing large, complex deals.
• Research and advise on transactional and corporate matters.
• Collaborate with outside counsel and internal teams to close deals.
• Work extended hours when necessary.
