Job summary

Amazon is seeking a senior lawyer to support a team building agentic shopping experiences aimed at delighting customers. The role requires leading and negotiating complex transactions and developing strategies for handling key legal issues in creative, business-centric ways.

You will independently draft, structure, and negotiate complex commercial agreements, manage multiple deals, and advise on privacy and regulatory matters.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor and membership in one state bar or equivalent.
• 10+ years of post bar admission legal experience.
• Experience in technology and commercial transactions or businesses.

Responsibilities

• Independently draft, structure, and negotiate complex commercial and transaction agreements
• Manage multiple deals at once, moving each from start to close
• Advise on complex issues, including privacy and other regulatory matters
• Provide day-to-day, customer-focused advice
• Work effectively across business, department, and cross-functional stakeholders
