Job summary

The Recruiting Hive in Seattle, WA is seeking a skilled Associate Attorney to join its Bankruptcy and Creditors’ Rights Litigation Practice Group. This is a premier opportunity to work with lenders, creditors, landlords, and debtors in complex restructurings and related litigation.

Ideal candidates have 4-8 years of bankruptcy experience, a JD from a top-tier law school, and active Washington Bar admission. Expect courtroom and transactional work in a fast-paced, collaborative team.

Qualifications

• JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record.
• Active Bar Admission in Washington, in good standing (or eligibility to waive into Washington).
• 4-8 years of substantive experience in bankruptcy proceedings, restructuring, creditors' rights litigation, or insolvency matters.

Responsibilities

• Represent lenders, creditors, landlords, debtors, and stakeholders in bankruptcy, restructuring, and insolvency-related matters.
• Handle loan workout negotiations, restructuring transactions, and distressed asset matters.
• Manage creditors' rights litigation, including loan enforcement actions, receiverships, and foreclosure proceedings.
• Draft and negotiate workout agreements, restructuring documents, pleadings, motions, and related filings.
• Advise clients on insolvency, restructuring, bankruptcy, and risk management strategies.
