Top Echelon Software, LLC in Seattle is seeking a skilled Associate Attorney to join its premier Bankruptcy & Creditors’ Rights Litigation Practice Group. You will represent lenders, creditors, landlords, and debtors in complex restructuring, insolvency, and bankruptcy matters across litigation and transactional work.

The ideal candidate has 4–8 years of bankruptcy-related experience, JD from a top-tier law school, and active WA bar admission (CA/OR a plus).

Qualifications

• JD from a top-tier law school with strong academic record.
• Active Bar Admission in Washington (or eligible to waive into Washington); Oregon and/or California a plus.
• 4–8 years of experience in bankruptcy, restructuring, creditors' rights litigation, or insolvency matters.
• Experience handling loan workouts, loan enforcement actions, receiverships, foreclosures.
• Bankruptcy & Restructuring expertise: debtor and creditor representations in Chapter 11/15/9 municipal insolvency cases.
• Litigation skills: drafting, discovery, motion practice, and court appearances for bankruptcy disputes.
• Experience with distressed asset acquisitions and out-of-court restructurings is a plus.
• Excellent writing, research, and interpersonal skills; attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Represent lenders, creditors, landlords, debtors, and stakeholders in bankruptcy and insolvency matters.
• Handle loan workout negotiations, restructuring transactions, and distressed asset matters.
• Manage creditors' rights litigation, including loan enforcement, receiverships, and foreclosures.
• Draft and negotiate workout agreements and restructuring documents; prepare pleadings and motions.
• Advise clients on insolvency, restructuring, and risk management strategies.
