Qualifications

• Experience leading design, development, and release of seatbelt or safety-critical systems.
• Strong knowledge of engineering release processes and cross-functional alignment.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders on complex vehicle programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end seatbelt system design, development, integration, validation, and release.
• Provide technical leadership across seatbelt architecture and component selection.
• Drive cross-functional alignment with styling, packaging, safety, and manufacturing.
• Own product definition, release, and engineering change management.
• Lead root-cause analysis and corrective actions across teams.
• Manage technical risks, timing, and escalations through the lifecycle.
• Partner with suppliers to ensure design feasibility and launch readiness.
• Oversee validation activities and evaluate results for robust products.
• Drive continuous improvement in design practices and component strategies.
