Job summary

Embraer in Melbourne, Florida is seeking an assembler to perform sub-assembly and component assembly of seating and seating components. You will use pick sheets, drawings, and work orders to ensure complete and correct assembly.

You will set up fixtures, perform final checks, maintain records, and keep a clean, safe work environment while adhering to regulatory requirements and Lean processes.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• Mechanical or electrical experience a plus.
• Structures experience a plus.
• Able to reference tech data and aircraft drawings to locate part numbers and perform repairs.
• Ability to lift 35-55 lbs on 8–10 hour shifts.
• Commitment to safety and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Understand and utilize pick sheets, trim/finishing drawings, work orders, and verbal instructions to assemble all components.
• Setup and use fixtures, jigs, and testing equipment.
• Make all final checks and adjustments required for proper functional operation of details and completed seat assembly.
• Move materials to and from work position.
• Keep accurate records and make reports in accordance with work performance requirements.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
