Job summary

National Coatings is seeking an experienced commercial painter to prepare and paint surfaces for commercial, industrial, and specialty applications. You will perform priming, sand­ing, sealing, and applying a range of finishes with attention to detail and quality.

You will also verify colors, interpret blueprints, and represent the company professionally on client job sites while maintaining safety standards and timely documentation.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as a commercial painter; exterior and interior painting experience preferred
• Exceptional attention to detail and quality craftsmanship
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to work independently and in a team
• Commitment to safety protocols and procedures
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Responsibilities

• Surface Preparation: priming, sanding, sealing, patching and applying various finishes
• Color Matching: cross-check colors and confirm products to match job files
• Application Skills: apply coatings to new, existing, and remodeled buildings with precision
• Professional Representation: maintain a professional demeanor on client sites
• Blueprint Interpretation: read blueprints and scope specs for accurate execution
• Documentation: complete required reports accurately and on time
• Change Orders: manage field changes and submittals
• Equipment Proficiency: operate scaffolding, ladders and spray systems safely
• Maintenance: keep tools and vehicles in good condition and work area clean
• Extensive Knowledge: know various painting materials and methods
