National Coatings Inc is seeking an experienced commercial painter to service client sites across commercial, industrial, and specialty applications. You will perform surface preparation, apply coatings, and ensure high-quality results while maintaining safety at all times.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years of experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as a commercial painter, including exterior and interior projects.
• Excellent attention to detail and quality craftsmanship.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work independently or in a team.
• Commitment to safety protocols and procedures.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Surface preparation including priming, sanding, sealing, and patching.
• Color matching and verification against job files.
• Apply materials to new and existing buildings with precision.
• Maintain a professional presence at client job sites.
• Interpret blueprints and scope specifications for accurate tasks.
• Complete reports timely and accurately.
• Handle field change orders and submittals.
• Operate and maintain scaffolding, ladders, and spray systems.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and vehicles; keep work area clean and safe.
• Apply in-depth knowledge of painting materials and methods.
