National Coatings is seeking an experienced commercial painter to join our team. The role focuses on high-quality exterior and interior painting for commercial, industrial, and specialty applications, with emphasis on safety, accuracy, and efficiency on client sites.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years of applicable experience, strong attention to detail, and solid communication skills to coordinate with teams and clients.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as a commercial painter.
• Excellent attention to detail and quality craftsmanship.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to safety protocols and procedures.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Surface Preparation: priming, sanding, sealing, patching using various paints and finishes.
• Color Matching to match job files and supplied products.
• Apply materials to new, existing, and remodeled buildings with precision.
• Represent the company professionally at client job sites.
• Interpret blueprints and scope specifications for accurate execution.
• Complete required reports promptly and accurately.
• Understand and complete field change orders and submittals.
• Operate and maintain scaffolding, ladders, and spray systems.
• Keep tools, equipment, and trucks in good condition; maintain a clean work area.
• Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of painting materials and methods.
