Job summary

Enprotech, LLC, located in New Hampshire, seeks a skilled CNC programmer to translate blueprints into precise machine instructions. You will develop and optimize G-code programs for lathes and mills, select appropriate cutting tools, and set up machines for production.

You’ll troubleshoot issues, adjust parameters, and collaborate with engineers to ensure high-quality parts. The role requires strong blueprint reading, five years of programming experience, and a proactive approach to staying

Qualifications

Five years’ experience programming CNC lathes and/or mills.
Blueprint reading is required with a high level of experience.
Degree or certification or equivalent job experience.
Understanding technical drawings and tolerances to determine final product specifications.
Ability to select tools/fixtures and setup machines efficiently.
Collaborate with engineers and machinists to ensure accurate parts.

Responsibilities

Interpreting blueprints and designs to determine shapes, dimensions, and tolerances.
Developing CNC programs using G-code with precise toolpaths, speeds, and feeds.
Choosing cutting tools, fixtures, and equipment based on material and geometry.
Setting up and adjusting CNC machines for specific jobs including tool selection and clamping.
Testing programs, troubleshooting errors, and adjusting machine parameters as needed.
Staying current with CNC technology and manufacturing processes.
