Job summary

Ultimate Staffing seeks a skilled CNC Programmer to develop, implement, and optimize programs for mills, lathes and other equipment. You will write code, run setups, verify part accuracy, and troubleshoot non-conformances to keep production moving.

You will interpret blueprints and CAD models, select tooling, calculate feeds and speeds, and collaborate with engineers and machinists. This role requires strong attention to detail and safe shop practices, plus training operators on new programs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with relevant CNC training.
• Experience reading blueprints and CAD models.
• Proficiency in G-code and CAM software.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving.
• Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and documents.

Responsibilities

• Program development: Write, modify, and optimize CNC programs for mills, lathes, and other equipment.
• Technical analysis: Interpret drawings and CAD models to determine tooling and paths.
• Machine setup & operation: Set up machines, run tests, and adjust settings for tolerances.
• Troubleshooting & maintenance: Calibrate and maintain equipment and troubleshoot non-conformances.
• Collaboration & training: Work with engineers and machinists and train operators on new programs.
