Job summary

The Charter Hotel Seattle seeks an experienced bartender to deliver consistent guest service at the hotel bar and lounge. You will set up, maintain and operate the bar efficiently while following state liquor laws and the property's alcohol awareness program.

Responsibilities include mixing beverages, answering questions, processing payments, and ensuring bar cleanliness. Banquet bar duties and inventory checks are part of the role.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 or older.
• HS diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year bartending experience.
• Knowledge of beer, wine and spirits and standard recipes.
• Ability to operate POS and handle transactions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of bar menu and make recommendations.
• Mix and serve beverages following recipes and measured quantities.
• Record transactions in POS at time of order and present checks.
• Process payments and ensure accurate cash handling.
• Follow liquor laws and check IDs to verify age.
• Set up and maintain bar cleanliness and stock supplies.
• Assist with banquet bar setup and breakdown as needed.
• Secure liquor, beers and storage areas.
