Job summary

Aparium Hotel Group is seeking a Bartender to join our Food + Beverage team in Seattle. The role focuses on delivering memorable guest experiences, managing the bar from greeting to fulfilling requests, and collaborating with the F+B leadership.

You will build knowledge of drinks through ongoing tasting and training, with responsibilities including safe, accurate monetary handling and teamwork. The position is non-exempt and reports to Restaurant Management.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of bartender experience.
• Fluency in English, verbal and written.
• Ability to obtain Alcohol Servers Permit (MAST) and WA Food Handler Permit within 14 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Uphold and model the company’s principles of People, Place and Character, driving collaboration, intuition and translocal hospitality.
• Own all aspects of a guest’s Bar experience from greeting to fulfilling requests in a friendly, timely manner.
• Participate in daily lineups and staff meetings to develop ideas with the service team.
• Serve alcohol safely, responsibly, and legally; accurately account for all monetary transactions during your shift.
• Share beverage knowledge to enhance guest experiences and suggest suitable additions.
• Keep workstation clean and organized with respect for guests, peers, and equipment.
• Demonstrate knowledge of beer, wine, spirits, and cocktails; continue learning.
