Macy's, Inc. is seeking a Bartender to deliver caring hospitality in a full-service restaurant environment, preparing and serving alcoholic beverages in compliance with company, Health Department, and state regulations. The role emphasizes accurate cash handling, beverage preparation, and customer service.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, 1–2 years of related experience, and ability to read safety guidelines. Flexibility to work varied retail hours is required.

Formación

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years related experience.
• Ability to read and interpret instructional documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule with retail hours, including day, evening, weekends, and/or holidays.

Responsabilidades

• Adhere to company policy and State and Federal regulations regarding service of alcohol.
• Follows Food Division Standards and Best Practices.
• Follow food safety standards and maintain work area and equipment in accordance with Health Department standards.
• Prepare and present all beverages following recipes and merchandising standards.
• Possess a strong working knowledge of wine, beer, and the varieties of alcohol.
• Educate, sample, and serve customers food and beverage.
• Effectively deal with multiple customers and communicate customer requests to staff.
• Account for all product served and cash handling to manager.
• Operate POS system to ring in orders and manage cash flow.
• Open and close area following checklist and coordinate with Manager on Duty.
