The Boys & Girls Club of the Northern Plains, Inc. Youth Development Professional position is a chance to be a positive role model, supporting, leading, and encouraging young people.

You will form lasting relationships, encourage positive behavior, and design activities to promote the overall welfare while expanding your knowledge of social work and youth development. Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Commitment to four days a week.
• Must be able to work within school year operating hours and summer hours.
• Familiarity with youth development principles and positive behavior strategies.

Responsibilities

• Enforce rules and mentor youth.
• Oversee daily operations of recreation areas and safety Equipment.
• Organize and facilitate recreational activities (games, fitness, arts/crafts, music).
• Encourage participation and healthy relationships among members.
• Prepare incident reports, progress evaluations, and activity assessments.
• Promote teamwork and leadership among participants.
