Job summary

Jackson Family Wines is seeking a Maintenance Technician to service and repair winery equipment under the direction of the Sr. Maintenance Manager.

This role covers production facilities, buildings, and support systems, with a day shift in non-harvest and swing or graveyard shifts during harvest. The technician must respond to emergency call-ins on weekends, work overtime on short notice, and anticipate six days per week from August through November, performing preventive, predictive, and

Qualifications

• 3–5 years winery or manufacturing maintenance experience preferred
• Thorough knowledge of mechanical systems in winery equipment (pumps, hydraulics, air and refrigeration)
• Able to read technical manuals, gauges, and meters
• Must pass a physical screening and have reliable transportation
• Valid class C driver’s license with clean record
• Strong communication and ability to follow directions with limited supervision

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical tasks: lubrication, filter changes, and repairs on pumps, compressors, and filters
• Install, troubleshoot and repair winery equipment
• Review service requests and determine solutions
• Use technical publications for troubleshooting
• Purchase parts and install
• Conduct inspections and preventive maintenance
• Perform predictive and corrective maintenance on winery equipment
• Assist in moving materials and equipment as required
• Be available for emergency calls on weekends and respond to harvest-season shifts
