Job summary

GALLO is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to keep winery and production operations running safely and efficiently. The role involves troubleshooting machinery, repairing components, and performing preventive maintenance across cellar processing, bottling, filtration, and facility equipment.

Responsibilities include using technical prints, testing equipment, and performing basic electrical, plumbing, and welding tasks.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or state equivalency + 3 years of mechanical/automotive maintenance experience on equipment or industrial motors/pumps.
• Alternative: Associate/2-year technical degree + 1 year maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on winery equipment and facility systems.
• Troubleshoot machinery, replace defective components, and test equipment.
• Calibrate instruments; service pumps and drive systems; basic alarm troubleshooting.
• Perform electrical wiring, conduit work, and basic plumbing as needed.
• Maintain shop areas and support routine inspections and safety practices.
