Total Wine & More in Sterling Heights is seeking a customer-focused cashier to provide fast, friendly service and accurate transactions. You’ll greet customers, answer questions, promote loyalty, and help with product knowledge through wine, spirits, and beer training.

We offer a flexible, part-time or seasonal role with opportunities to advance. You’ll work with POS and inventory systems in a busy, compliant store environment, including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1-3 years of work experience, 1+ years in retail preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, including identification verification, payment handling, and bagging product.
• Deliver exceptional service and a personalized experience by greeting customers and informing about products and services.
• Promote loyalty program and assist customers with sign-ups.
• Participate in wine, spirits, and beer training to build product knowledge.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness standards and comply with alcohol sale laws.
• Complete cross-functional responsibilities as assigned.
