Job summary

Total Wine & More is hiring for Seasonal Front End roles in Michigan. The cashier position focuses on fast, friendly service, processing transactions, answering questions, and promoting loyalty programs. You may also serve as a sales associate or merchandiser as needed.

Candidates should have 1–3 years of retail experience, be at least 21, and be able to work evenings and weekends in a fast-paced store environment. Training on wine, spirits, and beer is provided as part of the role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1-3 years of work experience, 1+ years in a retail setting preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Walk/stand for 8-10 hours; lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, including ID verification and payment handling.
• Deliver exceptional, personalized service and build customer relationships.
• Participate in wine, spirits, and beer training to increase product knowledge.
• Stay informed about promotions, advertisements, and loyalty programs.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness standards across the store.
• Handle cross-functional duties as assigned.
