Job summary

Total Wine & More in Michigan seeks an enthusiastic Cashier to deliver fast, friendly service, process transactions, and answer customer questions. The role may also include duties as a sales associate or merchandiser, with internal title Front End Team Member and report to the store management team.

You will greet customers, promote loyalty programs, and learn wine, spirits, and beer products while maintaining store standards and compliance.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of work experience, retail preferred.
• Familiarity with POS and inventory software is desired.
• Ability to work flexible schedules including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, including ID verification, payment handling, loyalty programs, and bagging.
• Deliver friendly, personalized service and build relationships with customers.
• Participate in wine, spirits, and beer training to build product knowledge.
• Maintain knowledge of promotions and advertisements and ensure safety and cleanliness.
• Adhere to laws related to sale of alcohol and maintain a safe store environment.
• Complete cross-functional responsibilities and other duties as assigned.
