Job summary

Orcas Island Chamber of Commerce is seeking a passionate, friendly person to join our team in a part-time capacity at a bottle shop, tasting room, and wine/cheese retailer in Eastsound.

The role runs from mid-August to early June, with shifts on weekends and some weekdays; training begins in August. You must be reliable, able to stay on your feet for long periods, and lift 40+ pounds. Some wine knowledge helps, and training is available.

Qualifications

• Wine knowledge is beneficial, training is available.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a small, busy shop.
• Must be able to lift 40+ pounds during shifts.

Responsibilities

• Pour tastes and provide recommendations to customers.
• Engage with guests and share information about the island.
• Maintain a clean, organized tasting room and shop floor.
• Work the assigned weekend shifts and training period.
