Job summary

Lakeside Book Company is seeking a Seasonal Weekend Material Handler at its Indy North facility in Indianapolis, IN. The role runs Friday through Monday, 6:00am-4:00pm, with overtime as needed.

The position pays $17.50 per hour with a $1.50 per hour shift differential, and is not eligible for benefits due to its seasonal nature. Safety footwear is required on site.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, distribution, or logistics experience - required
• Basic computer skills needed to accurately scan, sort, and process products
• Proven success working in fast-paced, high-demand seasonal periods
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and lift throughout duration of 8 to 10-hour shift
• Ability to communicate effectively in English (written and verbal) to be able to collaborate with team members and follow direction from leadership

• Sort and organize materials for stowing and usage
• Assist with inventory management as requested

Seasonal Weekend Material Handler (Finance)

Pay: $17.50/hr, plus $1.50/hr shift differential - On Demand Pay available

Shift: Friday-Monday, 6:00am-4:00pm, with overtime as required

Location: Indy North - 5550 W. 74 th Street, Indianapolis, IN 46268

Job Type: Seasonal - not eligible for benefits

Job Duration: This seasonal role is expected to last through the facility's peak season. Employment may end earlier or extend slightly depending on department workload and business needs
