Job summary

Lakeside Book Company in Indianapolis is seeking a Seasonal Warehouse Material Handler for the 3rd shift. You will label, sort, palletize, and wrap products for shipment while meeting safety standards.

Work Sundays through Thursdays, 11:00 pm to 7:00 am with overtime on Fridays (9:00 pm–5:00 am). The role is seasonal and not eligible for benefits, located at Indy North.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, distribution, or logistics experience - required.
• Basic math skills for accuracy in order picking.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for 8 to 10-hour shifts.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English to collaborate with team members and follow leadership directions.

Responsibilities

• Accurately label, sort, palletize, and wrap product for shipment
• Safely load product to correct carrier for shipment
• Communicate with supervisors regarding discrepancies, damage, or order issues
• This position requires continuous and repetitive lifting of boxes weighing 50lbs+
• Adherence to all safety policies - steel toes required

Seasonal Warehouse Material Handler - 3rd Shift (Finance)

Pay

$17.50/hr, plus $1.50/hr shift differential - On Demand pay available (access a portion of your pay before pay day)

Shift

Sunday-Thursday, 11:00pm-7:00am, with overtime including Friday (9:00pm-5:00am)

Job Duration

This seasonal role is expected to last through the facility's peak season. Employment may end earlier or extend slightly depending on department workload and business needs
