Job summary

Lakeside Book Company in Indianapolis is seeking a full-time Warehouse Associate for the Indy North facility. Pay is $19.50 per hour, with a Monday–Friday 6:30am–2:30pm shift and overtime including Saturdays. Location: 5550 W.

74th Street, Indianapolis, IN 46268. The role involves processing, sorting and labeling returned product, updating inventory systems, and communicating discrepancies while following safety policies.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, distribution, or logistics experience is required.
• Basic computer skills to scan, sort, and process products are required.
• Previous forklift experience is required.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and lift for an 8–10 hour shift.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English (written and verbal).

Responsibilities

• Process, sort, and label returned product per publisher instruction using powered equipment as needed.
• Accurately update inventory systems and record return reasons and/or codes.
• Communicate with supervisors regarding discrepancies.
• Adherence to all safety policies.

• Ability to communicate effectively in English (written and verbal) to be able to collaborate with team members and follow direction from leadership
