Job summary

Lakeside Book Company is seeking a seasonal warehouse associate in Indianapolis, IN. The shift runs Friday through Monday, 6:00am–4:00pm, with overtime as needed. Pay is $17.50 per hour plus a $1.50 per hour shift differential and On Demand Pay is available.

The role requires standing, walking, bending, and lifting for 8–10 hours and adherence to safety policies. Prior warehouse or logistics experience and basic computer skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, distribution, or logistics experience - required.
• Basic computer skills needed to accurately scan, sort, and process products.
• Proven success working in fast-paced, high-demand seasonal periods.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and lift throughout duration of 8 to 10-hour shift.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English (written and verbal) to be able to collaborate with team members and follow direction from leadership.

Responsibilities

• Receive and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.
• Sort and organize materials for stowing and usage.
• Assist with inventory management as requested.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Adherence to all safety policies - steel toe shoes required

Pay:
