Job summary

OnTrac is offering a seasonal Package Handler role at our Carlstadt, NJ site. You will help unload, sort, and move packages as part of a hands-on team that keeps thousands of packages moving toward their destinations. Shifts are part-time with approx.

25–32 hours per week. Pay is $20 per hour with typical weekly pay and flexible shift options. This seasonal position runs from late October to early January, with potential opportunities beyond the season.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Be dependable and available for your scheduled shift, including weekends or holidays when needed.
• Meet applicable pre-employment requirements, including a background check where permitted by law.
• Be able to work scheduled shifts, including overtime when business needs require.

Responsibilities

• Safely unload, sort, move and load packages weighing up to 30–50 pounds independently.
• Participate in team lifts for packages weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Keep packages organized and moving safely and efficiently.
• Keep your work area organized and ready for action.
• Work as part of a team to help packages reach their next destination safely and on time.

Part-Time :( Variable days; approximately 5 days/week, 25–32 hours total)

• Saturday through Wednesday 12:15AM - 6:00AM or End of Sort
• Sunday through Thursday 12:15AM - 6:00AM or End of Sort
• Monday through Friday 12:15AM - 6:00AM or End of Sort
• Tuesday through Saturday 12:15AM - 6:00AM or End of Sort
• Wednesday through Sunday 12:15AM - 6:00AM or End of Sort
• Thursday through Monday 12:15AM - 6:00AM or End of Sort
• Saturday through Wednesday 12:15AM - 6:00AM or End of Sort

Hours may vary based on business needs. “End of Sort” is defined as the completion of all required sort work for the day and clean-up activities, as directed by site management.

What You’ll Need

To join our team, you’ll need to:

Physical Requirements

This is an active warehouse role. With or without reasonable accommodation, you must be able to:

• Repeatedly lift packages as described above
• Stand and/or walk for extended periods during your scheduled shift
• Frequently bend, twist, reach, push, pull and squat while handling packages
• Perform repetitive physical tasks throughout your shift
• Work in hot or cold environments, as temperature control capabilities may be limited in the warehouse environment

Premium Holiday Pay

• Premium pay for hours worked on New Year’s Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day
