Job summary

GameStop is seeking a Seasonal Sales Associate to support the store team during peak sales days. You will focus on sales, store maintenance, and customer service while upholding GameStop’s Circle of Life business model.

Availability during peak seasonal days is required. Responsibilities include greeting guests, assisting with video game needs, stocking and merchandising, and contributing to sales initiatives with a friendly, professional demeanor.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail sales or guest service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide best-in-class customer service by greeting guests, assisting with video gaming needs, and guiding purchases.
• Support the store environment and sales initiatives during the holiday season.
• Collaborate to keep areas clean, organized, and merchandised per company guidelines.
• Assist stocking and restocking merchandise and transfer from stock room to selling floor.
• Help meet and exceed sales, profit, and shrinkage reduction goals.
• Address guest questions promptly and escalate issues to a store keyholder.
• Support inventory control and loss prevention practices and safety.
• Adhere to store policies and confidentiality.
• Certain state-specific exceptions may apply
