Job summary

Macy's is seeking a Core Trainer to support onboarding and task-based training for Seasonal and Core Colleagues. The trainer will demonstrate knowledge of department tasks, ensure accuracy, and cross-train across the facility to uphold hospitality and inclusive culture.

Full-time schedules typically require 30+ hours per week with weekend shifts. The role emphasizes training delivery, coaching, safety, and adherence to standard operating procedures to drive operational excellence and colleague

Responsibilities

• Provide onboarding and operational training for new hires to ensure understanding of procedures, safety, quality, and productivity goals.
• Deliver refresher training and retraining to improve performance and compliance with standards.
• Coach colleagues and conduct follow-up to ensure training completion and adherence to SOPs.
• Observe workflows, identify gaps, and implement training solutions across multiple departments.
• Partner with Warehouse Managers to address gaps and drive improved execution and productivity.
