Macy's Inc. is seeking a Core Trainer to support onboarding and task-based training for Seasonal and Core Colleagues in our distribution center.

The trainer will demonstrate knowledge of department tasks, deliver accurate, consistent coaching, and cross-train across the facility to support end-to-end supply chain operations and a strong, inclusive hospitality culture. • Ability to train and coach colleagues across departments.
• Ensure understanding of operating procedures, safety, and quality standards.
• Proficient in documenting training progress and trends.

Responsibilities

• Provide onboarding and operational training for new hires to ensure understanding of operating procedures, safety expectations, quality standards, and productivity goals.
• Provide refresher training and retraining for existing colleagues to reinforce proper procedures and improve performance.
• Ensure work instructions, safety guidelines, and quality expectations are consistently followed throughout daily operations.
• Consult and partner with designated Training Ambassador to standardize training across the facility.
• Serve as a cross-functional trainer supporting training needs across multiple departments.
• Complete training checklists and conduct follow-up to ensure successful training completion.
• Perform frequent quality and productivity audits and provide coaching and corrective feedback when needed.
• Observe workflows, minimize errors, assess proficiency, and retrain as necessary to improve performance.
• Partner with Warehouse Managers and Leads to identify gaps and implement training solutions to improve execution.
• Demonstrate a passion for training and developing others and create an engaging learning environment.
