Qualifications

Current IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.
NFHS Fundamentals of Coaching Certificate.
NFHS Concussion in Sports Certificate.
Background as a player at high school or college preferred.
Previous experience as assistant or head coach preferred.
Understanding of sports rules, safety protocols and strategies.

Responsibilities

Design and lead practices to improve team performance and develop game plans.
Develop values of sportsmanship, discipline, teamwork and balancing academics with athletics.
Foster a positive, inclusive team culture and resolve conflicts.
Maintain practice, game, and transportation schedules, scores, records and evaluations.
Enforce eligibility, safety protocols and sports rules.
Communicate with parents, school staff, booster club, and community.
Assist with other duties related to the sports program.
