InstroTek, Inc. in Grand Rapids, Michigan is seeking a Seasonal Technician to join during our busy December–April season.

This hands-on role supports testing equipment prep, handling customer interactions, and maintaining accurate records in a technical environment. You will work with nuclear density gauges, DOT-compliant shipping cases, and ERA system entries, requiring attention to detail, reliability, and good manual dexterity.

Qualifications

• Dependable, detail-oriented, and hands-on
• Able to read and verify numbers accurately
• Comfortable using basic computer systems and hand tools

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers via phone or in person when receiving test equipment
• Process equipment into ERA system with detailed tracking
• Clean and label Type A shipping cases per DOT specifications
• Disassemble nuclear density gauges to component level
• Clean nuclear density gauges using hand tools and solvents
• Read, check, and verify equipment numbers and records
• Follow written and verbal instructions accurately
• Pack parts, components, and testing equipment for shipment
• Manage multiple tasks while maintaining quality and deadlines
