Graco manufactures and markets premium equipment to move, measure, control, dispense, and spray a wide variety of fluid and powder materials. We handle products that pump peanut butter into jars, oil in cars, glue soles of shoes, glass in windows, screens on phones, spray vehicle finishes, coat pills, paint houses, and texture walls. Graco is a part of your daily life.

The role involves providing repair, troubleshooting, minor application assistance, and technical information on Graco products to meet customer requirements and enhance satisfaction.

*This role will be full time during the summer and then part time during the school year.

What You Will Do at Graco

  • Develop product knowledge across all product lines to support field personnel in servicing Graco products.
  • Establish troubleshooting and repair skills for assigned equipment, providing assistance via telephone to end-users, distributors, and field personnel.
  • Provide limited application assistance on equipment.
  • Report product defects promptly to Product Service Managers, Quality, and Engineering departments.
  • Act as the communication hub regarding product issues, actions, and resolutions.
  • Follow all ISO procedures related to your role.
  • Create and maintain a reference library for quick and accurate customer support.
  • Assist in product modifications and system requirements with various teams.
  • Enhance troubleshooting skills on all Graco equipment, new and old.
  • Participate in meetings for product problem resolution and information sharing.
  • Attend training seminars to improve troubleshooting, application knowledge, and product awareness.
  • Conduct product training classes covering technical and application aspects.
  • Handle customer service inquiries and duties as needed.
  • Provide timely, reliable decision-making information, demonstrating a sense of urgency.
  • Maintain professional relationships with distributors and other departments.
  • Travel as required to support field activities, including some weekend travel.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

The base pay range for this position is $16.00 - $27.00 per hour, exclusive of fringe benefits or other compensation. The final rate depends on location, skills, education, experience, and internal equity. This range is the full salary range for the role; hiring near the maximum is uncommon to allow for future salary growth.
