Job summary

GameStop is seeking a Seasonal Sales Associate to support the store team on a short-term basis during peak sales days. You will focus on sales, store maintenance, and customer service, helping guests with video game needs and ensuring a welcoming shopping environment.

Ideal candidates are 18+, have a high school diploma (or equivalent), and possess prior retail or guest service experience. Availability for flexible scheduling including holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail sales or guest service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide best-in-class customer service by greeting guests, assisting with video gaming needs, and recommending items during every transaction.
• Support store visual and operational aspects and contribute to all sales initiatives during the holiday season.
• Collaborate with the team to keep store areas clean, organized, and merchandised per guidelines.
• Assist in stocking and restocking merchandise on shelves and fixtures; ensure items are well-presented on the floor.
• Help meet and exceed sales, profit, and shrinkage reduction goals.
• Address guest questions promptly and escalate issues to a store keyholder when needed.
• Support inventory control and loss prevention practices, and stay aware of scams and safety best practices.
• Adhere to GameStop policies and procedures, including attendance, confidentiality, and ethics.
