Job summary

GameStop is seeking a Seasonal Sales Associate to support the store team on a short-term basis during peak seasons. You will focus on sales, customer service, store maintenance, and merchandising, helping guests and meeting store goals.

Ideal candidates will be 18+, with a high school diploma or equivalent and retail/guest service experience preferred. You should be flexible, have strong communication skills, and provide friendly assistance to every guest in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail sales or guest service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide best-in-class customer service by greeting guests, assisting with gaming needs, recommending items, and thanking guests for choosing GameStop.
• Fully support the shopping environment, including visual and operational aspects, and contribute to store sales initiatives during the holiday season.
• Collaborate to keep store areas, including restrooms, clean, organized, and merchandised per company guidelines.
• Assist in stocking and restocking merchandise and moving products to the selling floor, ensuring it is well-presented and alphabetized.
• Help meet sales, profit, and shrinkage reduction goals.
• Address guest questions promptly and elevate issues to a store keyholder.
• Support inventory control and loss prevention practices, including awareness of scams and safety best practices.
• Adhere to GameStop policies and procedures, including attendance, confidentiality, and ethics.
