Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a seasonal, experienced Tax Professional to help clients navigate complex tax situations with confidence. You’ll build lasting client relationships while leveraging the support of an expert team and advanced tax training.

You’ll conduct tax interviews, prepare returns, and offer additional products and services. Prior experience with virtual interviews, compliance, and IRS support is valued; a CPA/EA or equivalent certification is a plus and high ethical standards

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
CPA or Enrolled Agent certification.
Experience completing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership).
5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax.
Experience conducting virtual tax interviews.
Experience with tax planning and audit support.
Sales and/or marketing experience.

Responsibilities

Conduct tax interviews with clients in person and through virtual tools – video, phone, chat, email.
Prepare complete and accurate tax returns.
Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services.
Provide clients with IRS support; guidance on notices and audits where applicable.
