Job summary

H&R Block is seeking a seasonal, experienced Tax Professional to serve clients with diverse tax needs, supported by an expert team and advanced training.

You’ll conduct tax interviews, prepare complete and accurate returns, and help grow the business while maintaining client relationships and IRS compliance. A CPA or EA and strong communication skills are preferred, with comfort using virtual interview tools.

Qualifications

• Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and through virtual tools
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services
• Provide clients with IRS support (audit representation if qualified)
• Mentor and support teammates
• Experience completing returns (individual, trust, partnership)
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax
• Experience with virtual tax interviews
