H&R Block is seeking a seasonal, experienced Tax Professional to serve clients with diverse tax needs and provide advanced training to succeed. You’ll work with an expert team and be part of a franchise office that handles tax interviews, returns, and advisory services.

Successful candidates will have a CPA/EA or related credential, extensive tax experience, and the ability to engage clients via in-person and virtual channels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• CPA or Enrolled Agent certification.
• Experience completing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership).
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax.
• Experience conducting virtual tax interviews.
• Experience with tax planning and audit support.
• Sales and/or marketing experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and through virtual tools – video, phone, chat, email.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns.
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services.
• Provide clients with IRS support.
• Mentor and support teammates.
