This role emphasizes client relationships, growth, and compliance in a fast-paced environment. The position requires CPA/EA or progress toward certification, plus 5+ years in accounting, finance, or tax, and the ability to conduct virtual interviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field is required.
• CPA or EA certification preferred for advancement.
• Experience handling complex returns (individual, trust, partnership).
• 5+ years in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax.
• Experience conducting virtual tax interviews.
• Proficiency in tax planning and audit support.
• Sales and/or marketing experience is a plus.
• Must meet continuing education and IRS/state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and virtually.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns.
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional services.
• Provide clients with IRS support, including audit representations where allowed.
• Mentor and support teammates.
