H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a seasonal Tax Professional to serve clients with diverse tax needs, delivering accurate returns, and proactive guidance. You’ll interview clients virtually or face-to-face, prepare complete tax returns, and collaborate with an expert team to ensure outstanding service.

The role requires a degree in accounting, CPA/EA certification preferred, 5+ years of tax experience, and comfort with virtual tools. You’ll mentor teammates and support tax planning initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field is required.
• CPA or Enrolled Agent certification is preferred.
• 5+ years of accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax experience.
• Experience preparing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership).
• Comfort with virtual tax interviews and client communication.
• Ability to support tax planning and audit processes.

Responsabilités

• Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face or via virtual tools.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns for diverse clients.
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services.
• Provide clients with IRS support when needed.
• Mentor and support teammates.

Formation

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field

CPA or Enrolled Agent certification

High school diploma / equivalent or higher

Experience completing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership)

5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax

Experience conducting virtual tax interviews

Experience with tax planning and audit support

Sales and/or marketing experience
